I have a USR x2 56kb and the connections my users are getting are 46 kb/sec
and 48 kb/sec.

I talked w/my local phone/network support and they said they have seen that
as an average for the nation.

I also talked w/USR (3COM) and they said the same thing. Some places (like
in a laboratory) can hit 56 kb/sec, but most are 44 kb/sec.

I have been running the NetMedic from VitalSigns to watch the xfer speed of
my phone connections and do see a HUGE increase of speed with the x2 :-)
