Radius as a service looging transactions to SQL 6.5

Can anyone tell me if they have run into the problem of having radius
(running as a service) just stop logging to the SQL 6.5 database. I have
been trying to isolate when it happens and the only thing that I have found
so far is if the server is rebooted both the SQL service and Radius service
start up ok but I am wondering if it could be a sequencing problem. IE
radius is started before the SQL database is available and therefore just
doesn't log any transactions until Radius is restarted ...

Any ideas or suggestions ???
