The original post mentioned problems delivering mail not receiveing, so I
guess that his MX record is not the problem, I gues that he needs a newer
cache file (named.root?), since the one that comes with NT4.0 DNS is
outdated....

The question would be where can he get it?

You need to add an MX record that is pointing to your mail server. Usually
the best thing is to make mail.domain.com point to 204.216.44.8. and the MX
record point to mail.domain.com

Hope that clears it up

Is anyone out there using MS-DNS that I could ask a questions on
configuring our DNS properly. I think we are having problems getting
NTMail to send to some locations. In the past I was having our upstream
provider provide reverse lookup.

I want to stick with MS-DNS. I know many are using BIND. Our name server
is 204.216.44.5. NTMail is running on 204.216.44.8.

Any help is appreciated.
