NEW YORK, July 1 (UPI) _ Microsoft Corp. executives are reportedly
considering a bid to acquire CBS, with the New York Post reporting four
Microsoft executives are poring over CBS's books. Microsoft is worth $153
billion, and reportedly has $9 billion cash on hand, so it could easily
afford CBS's estimated $14 billion price tag.
