USR Sportster 28.8 trouble.

Hi everyone. Can someone give me some help? I have one USR Sportster 28.8
modem, which I have to reset every once in a while. My first indication is
that people can't login on that modem. It will try to authenticate, then
will disconnect. I have this connected to a PM2e-10, and a show sess on
that port reveals an excessive amount of FRAME errors. Typically I have
around 10 frame errors on all my other lines, and this line has over 1400!

Is this a bad line problem? Where should I be looking for the problem?

Any help is appreciated.
