I've been reading through the Radius Administrator's Guide put out by
Livingston Enterprises, Inc. October 1996 documentation. The information
seems to be referring to a UNIX server. However, I am running Radius .60 on
Windows NT 4.0 sp2 and was trying to get certain User Entry Check and Reply
Items working.
These are the ones I have tryed without success.
test Password = "test"
User-Service = Framed-User
Reply-Message = "Your Account is Overdue"
Expiration = Apr 30 1997
Was wondering if i can use these User Entries on Nt 4.0. If the
Reply-Message = "Your Account is Overdue" works how would the user veiw
this if they were logging on via Win95 dialer? Would they have to bring up
Terminal window after dialing? The expiration is the one User Configuration
I would really like to make use of. I guess the only question I have about
that is if the Expiration Date is in the right format?
Another Question....I run radius from the command prompt and it seems i got
something wrong because i continually see my whole list of users logging on
(so it seems) with all BAD AUTHENTICATION. When my users ACTUALLY log on
they do authenticate fine. Why do i get this continuous scroll showing all
these bad authentications. The log file shows hundreds of these
below.......I have know idea what the ID #'s are. Anyone help me out on
this one? Thanks
