Radius capability

Greetings

We are a very small ISP (<500 customers).
I have been running radiusNT for about 2 weeks now. I can't believe it took so
long to switch over to it. thanks to the help of Mr Reed and a few
others I was able to get it going in one evening.

We are running Pm2e30s and a PM3 on the way. I have several
questions that I am sure someone could help with it they wouldn't
mind.

First one is, when running radius from the command line and I watch a
login I will often see what appears to be an encrypted password and
instead os an ack a line will print stating the password string and
decrypted password string. Very often there is an immediate relogin
of the same person (has to be automatic since it is so fast) and they
are established with the proper ack.

I read on this list all the time about using ODBC - Access together
with radiusNT. OK stupid newbie question coming up) What are the
advantages of doing this? Do you get
greater flexibility in parameters used to allow login? There
obviously must be account logging advantages. I hear people talking
about setting it up and debugging it etc but I never hear them
descibe what they are gaining by using it.

Thanks for your time.
