Modem Hangup

I am really stuck!!!! I just converted my whole system from a lame
multiport cyclades board over to a livingston pm2e....I had run some trials
before I switched all of my lines over....however...now that I've done the
switch...only 2 modems will answer. Number 1 and Number 3....all of the
rest will pick up and hangup immeaditly...without sending any kind of
handshake....ANY help at all toward this would be appreciated...I am in a
bind and none of my users can get online!
