I checked out the third party credit card vendors listed on the site. I
see Soft*Deposit, MAPP-PC, Soft Card, TelePC, PTC wo/AVS, PC-Charge, and
IC-Verify. From the Emerald site it appears Soft*Deposit has the best rep.
I called and spoke with them on some of the tech issues I was concerned
with (I also want to use it as on-line merchant cc software).
I was hoping to get feedback on the different systems from the wealth of
knowledge there is on this mail list. Any packages to stay away from? Any
that is absolutely great? I'd like to check them all out, but, lie all of
us I don't have time and most don't have demos available.
Recommendations greatly appreciated!!!
Also, on the subject of money matters...I am a new Phoenix based ISP and
haven't really hit the market place yet. I want to price my services
competitively, but I don't want to be way too high and I certainly don't
want to be too low. Makes for nasty competition and bad clientel! Anyone
have any URLs I can go to to check out what your charging (WEB Site
hosting, email accounts, PPP acounts, etc).
