In some future release of Emerald, will there or could there be an option
for having an automatic extension of a couple days put on an MBR if the
current expiration date (or Expiration + (Extend or Limit)) = a weekend day
(Saturday or Sunday)?
Every once in while, someone's account will expire on a weekend while no
one's in the office and if they call to find out why they can't log on, it
might be a while before someone can take care of it (by extending their
account a couple days). If there were some way of "telling Emerald" to
extend the expiration 2 days if the current one were a Saturday/Sunday (or
possibly some other specified day, incase some other ISP has off durring
one of the weekdays), this might work.
Does SQL have any way of knowing what day of the week any particular date
is?
E.g. 4/22/97 --> Tues.
Any thoughts on this?
