As per instructions EXACTLY to the letter and I still get the error, it
MUST be some obscure permissions issue. I guess now I must start with
those, I log in as administrator and run Serve U in the foreground. Radius
runs as a service, as the system account, so does this mean that the users
share must have permissions set for System Account?....

DL Serv-U 2.2 from http://cat-soft.com and the new su_emer.dll from
Emerald.

UnZip & Run the Setup.exe for Serv-U

Make sure that the Serv-U.ini file has the appropriate entries to use
the su_emer.dll

In Emerald Admin, put in the UNC path to the users DIR

My path is set up like this:

palace1\home\username

Set up an NT shared DIR for the subdir of your users DIR's.

So I entered the path in EmerAdmin as:

\\servername\shared_name

In my case the server is "palace1" and the shared name is "home"

\\palace1\home

Make sure that the users DIR is in lowercase.

When I enter a user in Emerald .75 the second I tab out of the login
field it inputs:
\\palace1\home\username

And it all works.

I don't know the techno-bable about how it works, but (and everyone has
a but) it works.
I did have a lot of trouble getting it to work with uppercase DIR Names.
