It has been awhile since I goofed around on a PM4 but you don't really need to do anything to your RADIUS configuration to have the PM4 assign from the pool you configure in the Portmaster.

With our PM2's and PM3's, all I've ever had to return to the NAS was User-Service = Framed-User and Framed-Protocol = PPP and the Portmasters would assign the address from it's pool after authentication. I only used a PM4 for about a month before moving to a MaxTNT but I can't recall needing to change anything in the RADIUS profiles. Just use the PM4 GUI to configure the pools.

Does anyone know how to configure radius to assign IPs from a named IP pool configured on a Portmaster4?

I have set up the pool and created the appropriate account in subAccounts table but am having problems setting up the attribute required -Has anyone ever done this?

We are runninig RADIUSNT in ODBC mode

  Thanks
