Subject: [NTISP] Win2000 Server and Radius Accounting Bug

Hi,

Just want to share a problem I am having with MS.

Using RRAS on Win2000 Server which has a Digiboard 60 port card in it.
Radius Authentication works well as does most of Radius Accounting. The
problem is that Win2000 Server is not sending Input and Output Octets
information. No problem if you don't charge for bandwidth.

This was a bug in WinNT4 and was apparently fixed. It's been re-introduced
to Win2000 Server.

The real gripe is the fact that MS obviously couldn't give a stuff!!!!

CASE_ID_NUM: SRL000613600010 was created in July 2000 and I PAID MS to get
a fix. Apart from sending them records of radius packets in August 2000 I
have heard nothing.

Ok - that's of my chest :-(

Glen.
