[NTISP] Actiontech modem and Max 6048

Does anyone have any init strings to get these to work togeather? Anyone had
any experience with the two? I have a customer who has one of the Actiontech
Call waiting modems and is having trouble connecting, staying connected, and
connecting but cannot "surf" the web. Seems like a problem with ppp or
tcp/ip once connected...bit have no idea what to do on the init strings.
Looked the web over and the usuak 56k sites, but cannot find anything on
them. ANy ideas?
