Err, sorry but I can't quite follow.
I'm actually logged on as administrator and was using the SQL's enterprise
manager and try to
register a new sql server when I encounter the following error:

xxx.yyy.bbb.ccc -= Client unable to establish connection
ConnectionOpen (CreateFile())
