Okay, just my best guesstimate. there is bit, byte (8 bits), kilobyte (1,024 bytes) and megabyte (1,024 kilobytes)

So a T1 is 1.544 Megabits or 1 Million, 544 thousand bits per second or 188.47656K per second.

So based on that a 1Meg file would take 5.4330363 seconds (IDEALLY)
