My experiences with Allot have not been very favorable. Actually, the
Allot box is just a 1U linux box with their custom software on it.

You can do the same thing with your own box using the software found here...

What I was looking for was a rock solid and supported product to allow
bandwidth monitoring and reporting. But the box is very rough around the
edges considering its price. As far as my needs, the accounting portion is
virtually useless.

I think it has some potential and I may revisit the product in a year but
fo now its far too expensive for what I'm looking to do.
