Hmm... tight budget eh?

I used a IDE based RAID solution from Promise for one machine. It uses ATA66
IDE drives and is acceptable in speed. I only did stiping though, not RAID 5
but you can do both striping and mirroring with this card ($150). The increase
in speed over an IDE only drive was noticable. I have not put it to the big
tests yet.
