I have the same setup, several buildings with customers sharing one T1.
In one building I have a FreeBSD 486 with 2 nic cards limiting bandwidth by
IP.
In another building we have a FreeBSD box in each office doing bandwidth and
FireWall
and in yet another we are running Cisco router/switch combo to do it all.
