I think there is a knowledge base article on this one at MS but I recall that
you need to have client for microsoft windows installed and "log on to network"
clicked on for the dialin.

: I am a local ISP and have several small companies who are hosting web
: sites with me. I recently set up to allow use of MS FrontPage to access
: their sites. If someone is not dialed into me for their access they can
: get to their site using FrontPage. If the customer is dialed into me
: for their access, they get an error when they try to access their site
: using FrontPage. The error is "NTLM authentication failed
: (code-2146893042). I am running NT4.0 for my servers. Customers can
: ftp to the site via command line or any of the ftp software available.
: Any suggestions as to how I might fix this?
