I don't know what type of Ascend NAS device your using, but the newer TAOS
versions support radius attribute 11 (Filter-ID). The data filter is created on
the NAS and given a name. All you have to do is pass the filter name using
attribute 11 which is just a string. I've done it and it works fine. It also
gives you cross-platform compatibility with different NAS devices.

what would happen if I changed the Attributes of the ascend-data-filter
from Binary filter to strings. Could you give me a examlp of the out put.
