You can download Sybase from www.sysbase.com. They have a free version of
ASE 11.03 (I think). This is their db engine but it also includes the
client connection software. As long as you set it up for port 1433 (MS Sql
tcp port #) it will work with MSSql. You can then use the Sybase isql
utility.
