It sounds to me like those users have a terminal window opening up after
dialing.
Assuming they're using Windows 95/98, have them check the following:
Go into Dial-Up Networking
Right-click on the connection and choose properties.
Click on Configure
Click on the Options tab
DEselect anything that mentions terminal windows.
For that matter, disable any login scripts the people might be using too.
I don't know where the stuff is in a TNT, but there are some settings in our
40xx units that may correspond to what you're talking about:
Ethernet --> Mod Config --> TServ Options
