See my response. I don't like that solution, as its NOT checking to
see whether RADIUS is ACKing the user. Its a good start, but only
1/2 the solution. I tested a WUPG 4.0 install here and it works
fine on the strings I put and tests the DB connectivity as well.
Please send me the -x15 debug of the wupg request with my strings
and let me see whats going on with them.

I'm not trying to steal thinder from Charlie, as he has done a
great job on resolving this. I just want to get a full solution
out there.
