[Emerald] Reports food for thought

Hi,
Due to inexperience with SQL 7 and Emerald, my initial installs failed.
Not knowing how to delete devices in SQL, I simply created a new
Emerald database with a different name. Most everything was working
except
some reports worked and others didn't. Namely the einvoice.rpt
After getting Crystal Reports Pro 7.0, I began to realize the reports
were
looking for a database named Emerald.

DOH!

I have since learned how to drop devices and created the new "Emerald"
database,
and successfully imported the data into it.
Guess what. I can now see the reports everyone has been referring to.

I guess I am simply noting this for any other newbie that happens to
think the
"Emerald" name for the database may not necessarily have to be Emerald!

Also, My first install failure was caused by setting up SQL with program

files
on one drive and data files on another. When Emerald first popped up to
create the DB I simply went with the defaults, which of course ended in
an error,
due to the fact that it attempted to create the DB on the disk where the

program
files reside and not the data drive.
