Setup Emerald, RadiusNT configured with my existing NTMail last weekend.
All users browsing, authenticating, and emailing. (not necessarily in
that order.)
The most difficult part was entering the MBR's. Nice systems, happy I
bought it.
However, I am not database savvy, and so do not know my way around SQL
very well.
Using :
NT 4.0 SP 6a
SQL 7.0 SP1
RadiusNT 2.5.212
RadiusNT Admin 2.5.267
Emerald 2.5.329
Emerald Admin 2.5.323
Emerald Auth 2.5
NTMail 5.00e
Small ISP handling a few hundred users.
Questions:
1) Are these the best versions to be running together?
2) Any known compatibility problems with 3com/USR products? (ie TC
Enterprise Hub and Netservers)
3) How do I get Time On to work. Currently receiving SQL error.
RADIUS Auth. working, not sure about RADIUS Acct.
4)What is the correct way to set up a customer that is billed monthly
(Calendar Month) by CC
with per time billing? Tried using monthly instead of anniversary
but get expire errors.
5)What is best CC software to interact with Emerald? Currently have PC
Transact-IT (sux)
