Dale,

We now have CyberCash Merchant Connection Kit installed on our secure
webserver and are using the Cold Fusion CFX_CyberCash custom tag with it to
handle various credit card transactions for shopping carts, etc. that reside
on various domains on the server.

One of our development guys came to me and asked if there was a way to use
IT instead of our PC Authorize to handle all of the credit card transactions
for Emerald (2.5.322 at the moment). Cold Fusion can access anything in the
Emerald db, so long as the proper DSN is specified and the permissions are
set accordingly for specific tables/columns, etc. in SQL (6.5, soon to be
upgraded to 7.0). I don't see any reason that it wouldn't work, provided
that the correct info be sent and received.

The question is, assuming this is possible in some way, what would be the
best way to handle this?
Would we continue to use the "batch in" and "batch out" buttons in the Batch
window, or should they no longer be used?
If they do continue to get used, what "credit card batch type" should be
used in Emerald Admin?
If this is to be used, do the batch in/out file paths support UNC?

Josh
